If you are using the latest version of Google Chrome, you will notice your name (Account switcher) appears at the top right of the Chrome browser. If you think you don’t want to see it or want to hide it, then it is possible by doing a little tweak. Just click on the name button, you will find your profile pic, email address and your name on a pop up window. If you are not signed in to any account, you will just see You button there. You can click on Switch person to bring up an account switcher or click on use Go incognito to open the browser in Incognito mode. So here I am going to write a post about how to hide your name button from Chrome.
Hide Your Name Button from Google Chrome Title Bar
1 Type chrome://flags in the Chrome’s Address bar and press Enter.
2Now press Ctrl + F shortcut and search for Enable new profile management system.
3 From the dropdown menu, select Disabled and relaunch Chrome.
Now your name will not appear at the top right corner of the Chrome browser, if you want to get it back then simply do the above steps and enable it.
